TAXIDERMY COMPETITION

People’s Choice Taxidermy Competition  

AUGUST 7, 8, 9 and 14, 15, 16

Mount registration and drop off times: Thursday from Noon to 6 pm to accept mounts at the Game Fair Art Barn. Those interested should call or text Clifford Knutson ahead of time at 320-760-4297.

There is no entry fee, but interested individuals must sign a waiver. Contest is voter choice by the public that attends game fair. Winners are decided by a point system where voters can vote for up to their favorite three mounts.

Points are decided as follows:
1st choice-3 points
2nd choice-2 points
3rd choice-1 point

Entries with the top eight highest scores place and are awarded ribbons and payout as follows:
1. $500 (Blue Ribbon)
2. $400 (Red Ribbon)
3. $300 (White Ribbon)
4. $250 (Yellow Ribbon)
5. $200 (Green Ribbon)
6. $150 (Purple Ribbon)
7. $100 (Black Ribbon)
8. $50 (Bronze Ribbon)

Voting shall conclude at 2 pm on the last day of game fair at which scores will be added up and ribbons placed. Payout will be made to winners when the pick up their mounts after Game Fair ends. Mounts can be picked up the at the end of the last day of game fair.
