Ever since the first Game Fair was held in 1982 the ready smile, sage advice and friendly humor of Randy Bartz was a fixture of the waterfowling area. Known as the “Flag Man” because of his revolutionary contributions to the waterfowling world, Randy Bartz was a friend of everybody he met and a popular seminar speaker. “We are sad to announce that Randy Bartz passed away in July and he will be greatly missed,” said Chuck Delaney, owner of Game Fair. The seminar tent where Randy Bartz taught thousands of waterfowlers over the years will be renamed in his honor during our 40th annual Game Fair. We invite everybody to celebrate his life by visiting “The Randy Bartz Seminar Tent on Waterfowlers Hill” and learning about the sport he loved from his friends including Win Mitchell, Barnie Calef, Scott Threinen and Nick Johnson.
